Beautiful car and some really great photos. That trip must have been great. I'm planning on "getting my kicks" next summer from Chicago to LA. Thanks for the hints on places to stop.

Congratulations, beautiful car, beautiful pictures. You surely broke that new baby in right.

BTW, I do love me some Route 66 driving.

Great pics. I suck with a camera. Just got home last night from a 5,350 mile road trip with the wife.

Trip included COS in Pahrump, 1 bird strike and about 8 miles of snow outside of Durango. Car has now been coast to coast. Nashua NH to Carmel CA.

My wife and I just finished a similar trip picking up the car on Apr 20 and returning home on May 5. Not much time on Rte 66 but visited Little Rock, DFW, Palm Desert, Anaheim (for Chromes at WCC) San Luis Obispo, Monterey, Folsom, Eugene and home.
Here's one from just outside San Simeon. Total trip 3842 miles.
