Nice to see a couple of good looking Grand Sports representing us at the Ring instead of all the goofy color combinations we've been shown lately.
Now that the track has had some work, and the speed limit lifted, maybe it's time for a little redemption for the C7.
Anyone seen any times posted yet?

The clear wicker bill is part of Stage 3 on a Z06, and will not be offered from the factory on a Grand Sport, only Stage 1 (standard) and Stage 2. Someone asked about this at the NCM Bash and they said that Stage 3 was too much (unnecessary) downforce for the Grand Sport. And since they want to test a "production' version they can't use it.

What is the "acorn" on the top of the halo? Looks similiar to the XM antenna used on the 2005 C6.

A question for you GS officionados:
I have a C7 Z51. I would like to replace my spoiler with the one shown here on this GS. Will it fit? Thanks.

Not digging the GS Fender vents at all. LUDI -the GS uses the z06 Spoiler - there are multiple threads on it .. but in a nutshell it fits but will extend past the 1/4 panels. Some don't mind that look .. some do.

Thanks. I was hoping it might be a slightly narrower version.

Keep in mind also, that what you do to the rear of the car, affects the front of the car and vice versa. If you add aero to the rear that is active, you must supplement, to some degree in the front, or you'll dial in push by doing so.
Me personally, if I owned a Z51 and had to have it, I'd run an aftermarket front splitter, then get the z06 rear deck spoiler, divide it/mend it toward the middle of the car, then run the outer extensions bolt on like factory...done deal. Then again, that's what I do and most people in their garages can't execute that.

The stage 2 spoiler extensions don't fit the Z51 spoiler properly. I saw a local body shop owned by some black fellas I know do a "custom" Corvette Stingray and there was....glue involved. They were on there and from 10ft looked fine, but up close it was horrendous.

Thanks for the input regarding unintended consequences. I fully agree. GM did a lot of work to balance these things. Messing with down force in the back will undoubtedly require something up front. Like you, I suspect that a splitter is the answer.

GM has something else at the Nurburgring also...a monster of a Camaro...the Z28 no doubt. Look at that aero...they are lookin to lay an *** whippin on the GT350R.

Am hoping to hear a Video soon, hope there is no supercharger whine. The Z/28 needs to be NA. You are right, looks like chevy is going after the GT350R. The Z/28 should be doing this and stop the Ford guys and the Magazine's from comparing a Corvette to that damn stang. The Gt350R is a car all by itself right now with no domestic competitor in its class. The C7 is in a different class.

Looks pretty good. Why the GS hash marks?
