Do you track your C7?
The speed issue has come up in several threads lately. At the BASH presentation much was made of the small differences in speed for 0-60, quarter mile, etc. between the four different Vettes: Stingray, Z51, Grand Sport, and Z06. Although I've been to the track a couple of times, I have never tracked my car, either for out and out lap racing and times or the drag strip itself. And I'm wondering how many people do. So the question is, do you actually "track" your Vette in any way at all?
I went through ten pages of "Poll:" and did not find this, so I'm hoping it hasn't been done recently.

Yes, this is why I bought it. I got the Z51 package. Dead stock, it is very capable on a road course, even compared with full track-prepped cars. Pretty impressive so far.

I voted yes although I haven't been to the track yet. I will be bracket racing my Vette this year. Due to rain outs, the season at Texas Motorplex starts this month. I just hit 1k miles so I'm ready to go.

Insurance Companies have put a crimp on track activities. Spare of the moment track use in gone. In the past I would go to an event like at Carlisle, watch then decide to join the fun. Not anymore!

Absolutely! I average 2 to 4 track days a month.....mostly instructing from the right seat but I will still put my car on the track (road course) at least one session a day per student.

Yes. Go learn to actually drive your car past pulling it in and out of the garage.
I don't have the budget to support HPDE's every weekend but I try to hit 2 or 3 a year. AutoX the rest of the time to stay sharp.

no and I don't plan on it and I did happily pay the extra 2800 bucks to get the Z51 package.....ZERO regrets doing so.

I, too, bought the car specifically with the idea that I would learn high-performance driving and take it to the track. I have done that several times now and each time love it. I can't see how somebody could own a car like this, the Z06/Z07, and resist the urge to take it to the track; And learn to drive it as it was designed.
