Blue collar union member working for a major electric utility in Texas.
I do anything and everything with electric meters. Meters from a signboard all the way to metering at a 345 kV substation. I'm one of 4 metermen (at my company) certified by the state of Texas to test, maintain, and install meters at electric generating and co-generation plants.
By the way, whether people like or dislike unions, I hope this can be reserved for another thread in another forum.

I don't meet any of the polls and was never in the military (way to drunk in my early twenty's)
Currently I own a 2 dairy queens and in the middle of 2 housing projects, one is a 42 unit town home private community and the other is pretty high end 12 unit spot in another town. I just got into hurricane grill and wings and we are opening 13 in the state of Kansas within the next 6 months.
Formerly I was an auto technician but my back just cant hold up to that anymore 46 years old........... some days im retired and others im in meetings all day so its not a terrible life.....
