Default Got a bad back? Who knew a C7 would be excellent therapy!

Whie driving the C6 over the years, I always slowly irritated my lower back especially during the Summer daily driving months due to lack of back support.

I relize this makes me sound old, but at 42, w/ two herniated discs and a bad back, lower back pain was the price I paid to drive my dream car.

Until the C7. Since I bought one of the first Stingrays over 2 years ago, I have had less overall back pain in the Summer months.

Anyone else experience this?

Not less back pain, but I think it's really comfortable. It certainly doesn't bother my back, so I guess that's a win!

The C7 seats, mine anyway, seem to support and conform in all the right places. I find that long drives are more comfortable than they were in my former C6, or my other vehicles.

My C7 is the best therapy I have ever had.

I am 67 with a bad lower back, and the C7 does not affect my back at all, but does wonders for my mind.

Great that the C-7 seats helped your back. I have no problem with the seats causing back pain but I have seen numerous posts on this forum about the C-7 seats causing back pain. I feel they could have been just a little wider and still provided adequate support.

I'm in the same boat with herniated disks and agree 100% the seats make my back feel better. Maybe placebo effect?

At 65 friends wonder why I want to drop in and climb out of a vehicle that low. I just tell them it keeps me young and when you get rewarded with the ride experience all is well in God's creation. Once you get settled, push that button, hear that growl, cue the music from the Bose and the road. You feeling it yet?

Same. Definitely good supportive seats. Almost as comfy as my Infiniti M37x, and Wifey's Lexus. Light years ahead of my 03 Tundra.

I'm 65 and have had four surgeries on a total of six discs and I find the C7 very comfortable. I've driven it from New Orleans to Atlanta and back with no problems. Also, when you really sink your right foot into it, its like a straight shot of pain killing bliss!

I have had back surgery on a disc and luckily can still do the vette but I know what you mean. Test drove a new 2 ss Camaro first and it was much easier to get in and out of. The Vette seat being much lower to the ground.

This car is more comfortable on long road trips than either one of my 2 Lexus's ( GS350 and RX350). Something about the way the seats just hold you in, I can't explain it, but I have drivin this car on two road trips. 1 was 980 miles one way 14 hrs straight with just gas and bathroom breaks and the other was 300 miles one way and I never felt cramped or uncomfortable like I do with my other vehicles.
