How is life as a big guy in a C7?
Seriously wanting a C7 but not sure about comfort for a guy that's 6'3.5 / 250. I'm not a "wide" guy, mostly concerned about leg room. Owned several C6's and currently have manual 10' GS. I test drove the C7 and became aware that a manual is out of the question. However, I'm ok with going with the 8 speed auto.
I'd like to hear from the big guys about their experience over time. As I mentioned, during my test drive it felt pretty good but I was really excited! Want to know what happens after the excitement wares off and you have to live with this beast! It could be kinda like marring a woman because of her looks!
I appreciate your honest assessments.

I'm 6'1" and 300lbs and I fit fine. I'm taller in the torso so wearing my helmet can be a challenge at times (frustrating when guys taller than me fit better because they have longer legs and a shorter torso). Plenty of leg room for working the clutch but I guess it would depend on your individual build.

I'm 6'2 and change and weigh in around 220-240 depending on what side of the chinese food restaurant i'm on... The car is a bit rough getting in and out however I have no problems at all once I put the car on. Plenty of leg room on both sides. The GF and I flew into Kansas City for mine and drove it back, aprox 11 hours in the car and neither one of us were sore, cramped, or uncomfortable for the entirety of the trip. I can't say the same about my '01 WS6!

I get my car Thursday or Friday. I plan on putting a video together on this topic. I'll measure and show the difference between moving the seat forward and down and not moving the seat forward and down for comparison. I'll also disconnect the limiter to see what the difference is. When I drove a 2014 for a day it was tight but I'm thinking I'll be able to squeeze another inch of head room with the limiter disconnected.
I'm 6'7" 250-255. I was 290 in January but I've been sliming down in anticipation of the car.

Smooth9983.....will be watching for your video. I have not yet tried one with the seat back limiter disconnected to allow for more travel and recline. As is, I dont fit comfortably enough to buy a C7 (would have to be comfortable on a long trip...not just around town, and our C6 is fine, but the C7 is just too tight). 6'4" and 240 and like lots of recline.

I'm 6'6 290 36" inseam and didn't have to fool with the delimiter until I put in sound deadener behind the seat. So you'll fit.
It's certainly tighter than a C6. The bottom of the dash juts out more than a C6, but the interior is just fine for big guys.

What is the "delimiter" and how do you disable it? How does it make a difference?

This is spot on, height is only a part of the equation. I was at Spring Mountain with SK360 and we both had the same problem. I am 6'1" and have a 31 1/2 inseam. All my height is from my rear to the the top of my head. I had to scrunch down to wear the helmet with the standard roof. They put on a clear roof for me which helped but my head was still touching.

Six feet tall, 270 pounds, (I'm 'UNDER-TALL', about 6 inches short for my height.) Short legs, 30 inch inseam, and all of my height comes in my torso. Anyway, just spend 10 or 15 minutes playing with the seat, and you'll probably be able to find a comfortable position. (Move the seat all the way forward, then all the way down, and finally all the way back. That works for some of us.
The limiter switch, (you've already asked about it, I'm I'm sure somebody will explain it to you). That gives you about another inch backwards with the seat, but it might cause you a problem.

6'4" 225lbs fit like a glove. My only complaint is I have wide shoulders and the top wings of the seats squeeze me a bit but I got used to it. Might take to an upholstery shop to swap out the padding some day.

6'3" 225 here. I honestly feel like I don't fit in the car. My head is too high on the windshield and I feel like the seat doesn't really go back far enough. I have made it into a bit of a joke with friends and my wife "yeah, super comfortable" and then a laugh.
I wish it had the same room as my C6, but it's still a ton of fun to drive so I don't complain too much.

I like the UNDER-TALL description for us long torso people! With normal legs, I'm 6' 5" and would have had a lot better high school basketball career.
Another suggestion is to get the clear roof. This will add about an inch or so to the headroom.

6'4", 299.99 pounds. Starting a diet on Friday. I could use more room, head and knees hit. I'm thinking if I drop 70 pounds and get back to my normal weight it will drop me in the car and I'll be fine. But...
I bought it for my wife, not me. But because of the crap going on over by the hospital where she works she's afraid to drive it. Her last Corvette was red and so is this one, but she thinks it's too much of an attention grabber. We've had it 3 months and it has 262 miles on it. 110 of those were from bringing it home from Escondido.

6'5 220lbs, life is good. You have to tilt the seat a little and goes back further. Also glad I got the Transparent top for extra head room and seeing stop lights that are too high. I don't drive mine everyday though. Good luck!
