Had a '11 Taurus With about that color. And my next door neighbor has a new Volvo XC60 about the same. Very good color to hide dust until real up close. A very conservative color for a C7 Corvette but I thing it will look good and be popular.

This is what I was thinking as well. It is called Autumn Bronze on the Chevy Trucks and I think Buick calls it Dark Chocolate. No telling what it might be called for the Corvette, if indeed this is what they use.

I'm not a brown or green guy, so it won't be on my list, however I can imagine it will appeal to some, especially matched up with the Brownstone interior option. Like most colors, I will wait until I see it in person as some look better and some look worse than they do online.

Seems to me it is a symbiotic relationship. The NCM just took over all the tours for the factory, thus they are doing GM a favor because GM no longer has to devote personnel to the issue (though they were interns). Just imagine if the two organizations got in a huff with each other. They need each other. NCM creates a lot of goodwill for GM, so in that sense GM also needs to keep the NCM happy.
And if it is that bronze, call me unimpressed. It's a barf color.
