Generally you will never recoup your costs for add-on options. They will make it easier to sell your car, but you won't get much more $$ for it b/c of them.
Buy what you want, not what you think some future buyer might want

FWIW, if I were into real performance, the ZO6 is definitely the way to go. Now that, would be more appealing to buyers.

I drove the Base and the Z51....both nice. Then I drove the Z06.
This is not a dress rehearsal...it's only money!
Love the look of the car and the performance. I could care less about depreciation....just drive it like you stole it.

- Z51 front air dam (underneath) is just a 12" (approx.) section on each side; all of the space between them is empty. Non-Z51 front air dam spans the entire width.
- Z51 brake rotors are slotted, non-Z51's are not.

These threads are comical. I've never purchased a car thinking about resale value.

Did you buy a new 2017 1LT Base Corvette in October/November of 2018 for 25% off ($43,000)?
And kept it in super condition.
P.M. me, I'm looking to pay $35-38,000 for one.
Or, I'll roll the dice and wait for a stripped 2019 in 6-8 weeks.
Worst that can heppen is I will be forced to get a Base 2020 for $61,200.
