Default Z51 Tire Mileage

Well after 14 years with my C5 I'm moving up to a C7.

Just curious as to what kind of miles Z51 owners (who don't track their cars) are getting out of the tires.

22k miles and nearing the end of their life. For street use, based on my findings and that of other members, it seems like 20-25k miles is pretty typical for the Z51 Michelins.

Rolled over 32,000 miles today. The front tires need to be replaced but my rear tires have plenty of tread left.

Been there, done that, your gonna like the change. IMHO the C7 is a big change from the C5. Sort of like the C5 compared to the C4.

I went from a 2001 C5 to a '17 C7 Z51. Just shy of 20K on the OEM tires and looking like I should be able to get as much as 10K more out of them. Of course a lot depends on how you drive it.

19K on my first set. Car pushing 37K and still quite a bit of tread left, so I should do better this time.

They're making 2017's already?
I went from a 2001 C-5 to a 2015 C7-Z06 and blew through a set of tires in 10,000 miles

I'm at 12K with one HPDE event. Still good with plenty of tread.
Although, summer is coming and so are more track events.

I'm at 9000 in 2 1/2 years, no track or HPDE time, and see the tread going in a hurry. I don't expect to get more than 15,000 miles. Will likely get less.

Yep. Mostly highway miles as it's my daily driver. I don't drive nearly as aggressively as I used to

2014 Z51 delivered 12/23/13. Just replaced original tires. I got a little over 33,000 on them. No tracking and a lot of interstate miles.

I'm at 20k. Not quite to the wear bars but it's getting squirrely in the corners. Probably switch out after my next vegas trip

2015 with 10k "spirited" miles and 1 HPDE. About 1/2 tread remaining. So i'd guess another 5,000 "spirited" and a couple more HPDE's.

2015 Z51 'vert here....I've got 8000 on mine. They aren't looking too good at this point. I hope to get 12k out of this set-should get more out of the next set, as I wasn't the original owner....

I posed this question last year. Most responses were between 10k and 20k miles. A few 30k and one 40k. At about $1500 per set, I hope to get a minimum of 30k on my daily driver which should cover me for 2 years.

Replaced mine at 22000.

Some favorite 0.95g corners. No tracking.

Could have gone to 25000 I think. Was leaving on a long trip so I decided new tires better plan.
