I really really wanted to (mine expires end of march) go, but with a new baby on the way and a new home purchase I had to cancel mine...
Well have fun buddy! Wish I could go.....

Do they have any activities planned in the evening for the drivers? Like maybe when you check in or after the second day is over? We have to meet someone for dinner on one of the nights and if there is any thing going on I would like to plan around it. Thanks.

For those that have been, did you have a guest with you that was able to ride with a driver?
My husband will be behind the wheel but I was told I could set in the class and ride with an instructor. I sure hope I get too because I am excited about it!!

There is really nothing going on after 4:30, they had "happy hour" on the first night (after the class) but was not well attended. If you stay over the night before there is no food available on site so you may want to either eat before you go or find food after check in. They will give you a sheet with recommendations in town.

You will be fine! I'd never done anything like this either. The instructors are top notch and will move you around from group to group if needed until you are comfortable. It is not about how fast you are but about learning the car and what it can do. I have a new appreciation for this car now! Loved it before but LOVE IT now!

Drifting
My wife and I just returned.
Don't listen to all the guys that say that there is noting around the track to eat.
We watched the Super Bowl at a place called Draft Picks about 2 miles away.
Food was pub style and beers were $1.50
Also Japanese steak house right there was great.
Pizza and burgers at the clubhouse were good and happy hour at 5pm Had $2 beers.
Course provided breakfast and lunch.
Talk to a few people in your group and make your own fun.
Track and class sessions were great, ride alongs were based on the number of guests, but everyone got rides.
We are planning level two for late summer.
Enjoy

This is all great info. I appreciate it.
CoasterBill...Im sure you will do fine. I know they offer you some kind of insurance. If your not sure you might want to take it ou,t however, most people are saying not necessary.
We've been watching the forums and heard there is a good winery/steakhouse not far from the track. Although we are not wine drinkers, the steak part sounds good. We will probably do that one night. We are coming in the day before.
We are excited to learn all about the car!! Afterwards we are probably going to wish we drove there instead of flew!!!
