Default What about the "good ones"?

Ok, enough is enough.
I just spent nearly 70k on a vehicle, I've had it for a month, but after reading all the posts about problems. I can't help but wonder when, not if, my new car is going to self destruct.
How about some good reports, like " so far all I've done to mine is change the oil, and gas it up"

Anyone else with some good experiences?

So far so good on my June '15 built Stingray. About 3600 miles.

Every car forum is the same - those who have problems post. Those who have no problems don't.

Just the way it is. Your car will be fine.

Not sure what you are expecting from this. Most owners have had little to no issues. I am not one of those owners as mine goes back in the shop on the 22nd. Just drive it and not worry about it. If it fails you have a warrantee. Every make and model has issues and yes it blows when those issues affect you directly but it is what it is. Just have fun with it.

I took delivery on 10/1/13 and have not had a single problem. I have never had a major problem with any Vette. Problems are one of the things people go on forums to talk about. Some of it is just venting when frustrated. And, there are some that like to bash Vettes. There are a lot of good discussions as well. You have to take the good with the bad when you go on forums.

We bought our 2015 2LT Z51 A8 convertible on April 6. We now have about 10,700 totally trouble-free miles on it.

The ones that aren't having any problems don't get talked about much because, well, because they're not having any problems.

But here's a thread you may enjoy:

OP, why would you even think like that? Why is the glass "half empty"?

I've had my car for 2-1/2 years and never had a problem with it. You naturally will hear more bad stuff than good stuff. People on forums can't help but to moan and complain-frankly, it gets exhausting.....

Quit being so paranoid and go drive your C7 and enjoy it!

People without problems usually do not post, only those with problems post and ask if anyone else is having the same problem. Enjoy your ride, the majority of C-7's are good ones.

My 2014 base convertible had a fuel filler neck recall, otherwise has performed as advertised. Two oil changes and replaced clutch fluid, ranger method. - 6,000 miles.

We've had four C7s. None have gotten many miles but I would score it: Three good to one bad.

There is a lot of technology in them. I do worry about trying to keep a C7 for over 15 years but at my age the C7 is probably worried about me being around to feed it.

No not paranoid at all, and the glass is always "Half Full". Could have phrased it different, just looking for a response from the positive side.
I've owed few GM products over the years, two currently, one with 140,000 miles, another pushing 170,000. No longer in the fleet, but we had one we pushed over 400,000 miles. All with no major problems, just regular maintenance, and wear and tear repairs. So I know GM can produce a good vehicle.
Someone on the fence about purchasing a C7 might like to see some positive reviews from actual owners.
I know I feel better already, and this was only started one hour ago.

So far 750 exhilarating miles.
Cheers!

Nothing but horrible experiences so far. I bought mine brand new 3 days ago. Took it to the shop, hooked up a 300 shot of Naws. Motor blew. Absolutely unacceptable if you ask me. I waited until the 50 mile break in period was up and everything.

Dang Son!
Sorry to hear that, but your story just doesn't follow the guidelines of this thread.

(Assuming this post isn't just a feeble attempt at humor or overt trolling.)

10,000 trouble free miles on mine.

I picked my 2016 up in the beginning of October and drove it to California from Bowling Green. I'm over 4K miles now with just an oil change and the car is freaking awesome.

Enjoy your ride!

10 months and 2 oil changes, no more (little issues) than any other NEW car I've purchased. There's a lot more NO problem vette's out there than there are with issues, as stated above more people come on here with problems than those with-out problems. Mine is for pleasure driving and I have 6300 miles. No down time other than what could be taken can of during an oil change visit. Enjoy you car stop worrying, what happens-happens.
