Electric Corvette
Looks like there could be be an electric powered Corvette in your future. It does make sense since other manufacturers have electric sports cars available.

Safety Car
Right now I am interested in buying an electric the e ray would solve my problems.
I really have no use for a 4 door car a 2 door electric corvette would work well for me.
I can live well with a 200 mile range, I can get that in a Tesla but I don't think I want to spend 100K+ for the Tesla coupe do out.

One of the reasons I bought a C7 is this could be the last of the big block, high HP V-8 engines. Dual turbo V6 or 4 cylinder engines could very well be in our future along with electric. I don't see hybrid because of the weight penalty, could be wrong about that. Time will tell.

I agree that the big V8 is a thing of the past. Look at the BMW i8, the Acura NSX, and others on the market that are mid engine and or hybrid cars. And mid engine does;t have to be $150,000. The new Porsche Boxster/Cayman will have a turbo 4. Corvette is behind the times again.

It is referred to as a small block tho I don't know why....
I think cause it is physically closer to older sb size then the bb muserments but every thing I have read would suggest that it is beefed up like a bb with thicker webs and bigger valves and heads.
Would like to know how gm designers define the difference.
