Must have add-ons?
So I bought a new C7 Z51 that I've never met. She was supposed to be delivered to me today but alas the shipping company had other plans and is continually bumping my pickup date. Rather than continue to let my blood pressure rise as I think violent thoughts I thought I would ask you seasoned pros what aftermarket stuff is great for this machine.
I'm looking for any and all suggestions. Sadly any new loot I buy is likely to be delivered before my car. This is all I can offer for now...

Looks nearly identical to mine, except mine is a manual.
Having had mine a month now, I feel side skirts are a must have, and wished I had ordered them earlier, as I am waiting for them to be delivered. The tires spit rocks and sand along the rockers and just sounds like the car is getting sand blasted.
Tint is always a must for me. Lots of folks upgraded the floor mats to Lloyds, which I am considering. The stock mats are not that great.

Actually, for a lot less simply adding the factory splash/stone guards works wonders. The added plus as far as I am concerned is that they won't get chewed up by road debris like some side skirts I've seen. Start looking a Lloyds mats. Shop the forum sellers. Their prices are usually below msrp. I bought mine during the big black Friday sale at RPI. Saved darn near 15% off. Calling in the order will usually get one a better discount than that shown on their web site. Actual GM parts are best bought through forum vendor Cultrag. Fast shipping and no bull sh*t.

Congrats, that's a sharp looking ride!
A few small things you could order would be a tint kit for the side and rear markers. I recommend the vinyl over the acrylic. Also you could get some T10 LED bulbs to replace the cargo and plate lights as they aren't led's. Good luck!

Melting Slicks
Rim tape, the black rims really need a break from the tire, see below. Red would go fine on the car too.
CAGS eliminator
Poverty splitter
side skirts
RADAR DETECTOR !

20% Tint, side skirts, stage 1 front splitter, lloyds mats, these are the essentials. Past that, I would plasti-dip the side marker lights and emblems when you get the car. The car will look awesome. Congrats and enjoy your new ride.

Awesome information fellas, I really appreciate it. I was already looking at the Lloyd mats but great information for sure on the side skirts. Seems everyone is in agreement on those. Time to go shopping!

Hehe thank you, but I can't take credit for that picture. It belongs to Managerman on the other forum.
If you have painting experience, you can do it yourself, otherwise you can purchase the painted parts from https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-for-sale.html
or contact Vendor Showstopper for any design you want. You get a 150$ credit back if you send him your old pieces

Cost to DIY paint on the Fuel Rail Covers is about $40.00 in materials. Images below is my 2015 Torch Red DIY Project...did both Fuel Rails and Manifold Covers.
You can do it!
