The OP posted a pic, you can see the button as clear as day. Its to the left and above the shifter on the finish panel. looks to be about 1/2 inch in total diameter. looks aftermarket to me, that's why there is nothing in the manual.

BJ67, you do realize that you're replying to a post that was made nine months ago, correct?

Well I just read all 5 pages and still don't know what the damn button does!!! Did he ever figure out the ACTUAL function and I just missed it? Was it the "delete" button and he's afraid Hillary will make him disappear if he talks about it?

Pics are up and it is a coupe so no top down button. I would think the prevous owner installed it to control something. See if the dealer can contact the previous owner and see if he knows what it is. Good luck

Default What's this button for?

I am the present owner of this car. I found the original owner on this forum. The button was for after market lighting. It was removed and the button left in place.

Don't sleep too soundly because now we have an "unpurposed" button on the loose and only the shadow knows what nefarious function the current owner may assign to it.

APV, it does not appear as though anyone answered your actual question (at least I did not see one). If you are refering to the silver button behind the shifter, but in front of the dash, that was something that was added by a previous owner. That button does not appear to be a standard item on the C7 Corvette. Hope this helps.
