Uh, Oh!

I've driven my C6 on the beach, but only on hard-packed sand.

Its pretty obvious the car would handle a lot better if it were lowered 2 inches.

I think that it would have done fine with a double deuce set up.

I know the owner. They were not at the beach, it's in the desert.

Hopefully a lesson learned - the C7 (or any Vette for that matter) does not do well in an off-road situation.

You can tell it's not the beach - no ocean.

Only a moron would do that to a C7 ZO6. The kind of moron that does that shouldn't be driving a car with 650hp. All that sand that idiot just got into a expensive sports car . Any parts with grease will need to be cleaned out and if that sand found it's way past air intake filter . She just destroyed the engine . What a Dumb@$$ chick.

Thanks! The car is not really on the beach. It is the upper parking lot at Fort Stevens on the north Oregon coast and the sand is only an inch or so deep on the pavement. I got down low to take the picture. The ocean is a good quarter mile away.

I didn't even like driving it in that little bit of sand but when I got there the main lot was too crowded so I went to that spot to turn around. I figured as long as it was already there I might as well get the photo.

At least the 4x4 factory suspension is being put to good use (thankfully it wasn't lowered in that case). In all seriousness, what type of idiot does that with a $80k+ car??
