Where did you take her? Out on Rt 25? My wife used to do the same thing with her friend's 95 year old grandmother!

Good for you sir

People in her age group were certainly one of the greatest generations this country has seen. They deserve all the respect that can be given.

Not only is he nice he too should be considered an inspiration.
I have given many people rides in my past and current Vette. I have even let many people drive them. If I know someone likes the car I offer a ride. If I know the person or they are a friend of a friend and they know how to drive stick I let them drive. I have made many people happy sharing the car.
I was inspired by a friend who had a $150,000 Masserati. The short of it is some people at the church he goes to commented to him how much they liked it and said there son was coming in town and would love to see it. He handed them the keys to his car and let them have it for the weekend and he drove off in their run down late 80s Honda Accord.
I said if he can do that I need to try to be a better person and share more in my fortune.
I once was given the opportunity to not only see and sit in but ride in a 98' McLaren F1 LeMans edition(back around 98-2000). It was unbelievable. I will never forget it.
I don't make millions but I do okay and like to bring joy and happiness to people that maybe wouldn't have the opportunity otherwise.
Having a Vette doesn't make me better than someone who doesn't.

She is 83 and it turns out that she owned it for three weeks when she graduated college way back when. She had to get rid of it as she couldn't afford on a school teachers salary. I stopped and asked if she knew how to drive stick, she said yes I said would you like to drive? She said oh my god are you serious. We drove on for another ten minutes. When we got back to my wife's friends home she was grinning from ear to ear and couldn't be more thankful. To be honest I enjoyed it as much as she did. Don't be surprise if you see granny in a new stingray in the next month or so .

Awesome man !!! I always love bringing a smile to others also.
