Default Rocker Panel Protection Film

About two weeks ago I was finishing up my car wash and wax when I noticed a wax buildup along the seam of (what I am calling) the rocker panel protection film. I was moderately successful cleaning it with my fingernail. Now flash forward to today and I notice the protection film is very dirty along seam. I have tried everything to get it clean including a toothbrush with Dawn Soap. I am thinking they may have to come off and new ones put on...... thoughts.

Try taking a little Isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab and rubbing it along the edges. It works well on the clear bra.
