He should check the "sanity clause" in the wrap contract. Come to think of it there is no "santa claus".

Give the guy a break. He just wanted some old school flames down the sides of his chrome mobile and thought the fastest way to do it would be to use real gasoline.

Or maybe not.

You think that "editor" job requires a degree and experience?

So after seeing 2 posts about this corvette on this forum, I decided to register. I'm 99% sure I was the one who wrapped this C7 in chrome! I'm actually a regular of LS1tech under the username Killer-LS1, and I own a shop in Orange County, CA called JFR Motors.

Regarding the car.. I'm not surprised. He had some previous minor accidents in which we had to fix the chrome. I was NOT a fan of doing chrome (but it pays well) se we went ahead with it. It actually came out a lot nicer than we thought it would, but still not my cup of tea. Here's a youtube vid of the car once it was finished. Ill post up some pictures of the car in-progress as well!

Messed up on many levels. Tough life for a good C7.

The wrap is a nice reflection on your shop. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the car owners driving abilities.

As a businessman, you also know that it's morally wrong to allow a fool to keep his money.

Default Shame

First look , Speed had something to do with the amount of damage you see. Consider the road this car came off of is not a highway or freeway and not intended to be driven at the speed necessary to do the amount of damage you see here, I feel that the speed was greater then intended and probably the driver lost control and came in contact with other vehicles before it came to rest against this barrier you see here... Wonder if this car will ever be used again?

I think speed was definitely involved. Like I said in an earlier post, I used to live in Marina del Rey. That Shell station is definitely not on a high speed road.

I am not surprised that this happened to the owner. I live in the area and heard of him doing other foolish stuff.

This incident is not unusual at all. Over the last several year's Mid Eastern people are dominating the Southern California area bringing in 100's of thousands of dollars and spending like crazy. There have many articles discussing this very situation. The price of the chrome C7 was probably small change to this young mid eastern male. While we as Americans might think a $70,000 Corvette is expensive, too many Mid Eastern people, $70,000 is small change.

Here's an article that just surfaced a few days about ago about Mid Eastern men and women flying into LA on their private jets, renting high dollar luxury cars and renting homes for as much as $45,000 per week.

Enjoy the article as it is well worth reading.....

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/10/12...ash-and-spend/

This article certainly sheds a lot of light on the rich oil countries of the world. It shows how good we as Americans have it here in the USA which many of these Mid Eastern people want.
