Passing on the brake! Rotors should be changed when you change pads IMHO. I averaged 22K on my tires.

Rotors are expensive and unless damaged/worn by hard tracking or unauthorized pads I see no need to change just because new pads are needed IMHO.

I'm fortunate a friend shortly after taking delivery of his Z51 wanted all season tires to drive in the winter. He sold me his take off's with just 4,000 miles for $750 (what tire dealer offered him). Fixing to get an install price with 4 wheel alignment now.
