First thing my old fart father in law said, "Ben you spent how much for a car your kids can't fit in and the piece of **** doesn't even have a god@mn CD player!?" he went on and on about the lack of spare tire too, so I might be venting here for therapy...

Amen to that! We need blind spot cameras IMO.

I will echo what others have already posted and add one more:

Blind spot detection (either beeper or camera view as in Accord when turn signal is activated)
Side mirror turn signal repeaters visible from front and rear
Rain-sensing wipers
Rear cross traffic detection (has saved my butt more than once)
All wheel steering (my wife's TLX has it and it makes it easy to get in and out of tight spaces as well as noticeably more responsive on tight, twisty roads)

I wonder what weight trade-off we would be having to make for the features listed?

You guys... I'm all happy with my car and then you get me all wanting more...

I will not be surprised when GM offers blind spot detection on the 2017 model year as an option followed by 2018 as standard equipment.

Too bad none of the aftermarket suppliers came out with a retrofit product.

[QUOTE=Maxie2U;1590408029]Don't get me wrong the C7 has an amazing array of standard features and options we can add to this awesome vehicle.

I would like a painted rear bumper rather than BLk
i would like A painted rear brake light housing in car color rather than Blk.
I would like a raidar plug in

I would really like the option to disable some things that already there, but are hard coded to be always on like the auto-dimming mirrors and hill-hold.

I've used the same exact window tint on multiple cars over the years, but it's too dark on this car at night due to both the forced dimming rearview and drivers-side mirrors. And the forced hill-hold is my #1 least favorite "feature" of an otherwise well-thought vehicle. I'm not saying remove them, as some will like those -- I just want the option to disable via vehicle settings.

As far as additional request, I do think this vehicle could use blind spot monitoring (as so many others have stated). Even though I've never missed that feature in any other car, I do think the Stingray driver could benefit greatly here. Oh, and also adaptive headlights because I do miss those from prior BMW.

Most of mine are me too items.

Upgraded true high quality stereo. I miss the McIntosh stereo that was in my GT.

Would like to see the speed limit displayed in the HUD.

Let me put any of the gauges in the pocket gauge position. Why can I not have engine temp displayed?

A button to activate and return the side mirrors to the down position on backing. I have to keep the auto down feature turned off as I need to back out of a garage but there is no way to use the feature when I need to back into a parking space or along a curb.

A high temp track pack option with ultra capacity cooling.

Either a dual clutch trans or fix the software for the A8 so it actually does what its told WHEN its told in manual mode.
