2014 LT1 NRB 8K miles
1.) Recall for rear shocks
2.) Recall for gasoline tank filler hose
3.) unresolved issues, the dealer could not duplicate the problem:
a) Occasionally no device connected USB port
b) Passenger window goes down by itself from time to time
Even though GM sucks and does not appreciate us older guys I would buy another.

Base Stingray in Lime Rock Green with 3LT Brownstone interior, NPP, Z51 sway bars and wheels.
Built in October 2013, but came to me in May 2016 with only 3,200 miles. Just passed 13,000 miles during my trip home yesterday from the Bash, so I've definitely been enjoying her over the last year.
Other than the airbag recall and recent infotainment screen replacement, no problems.
Would I buy again? HELL YES!!!

Last fall, the blower on the AC started beiing intermittent.
It was such a mild winter, I didn't pursue it, but now, I am taking it in to have it fixed, because it never works anymore.
The compressor still works, but the fan doesn't. My guess is a loose connection, because going around a traffic circle at speed would turn it on. But now, nothing.

Well I think its time to let her go. Just came back from an extended trip to San Antonio from Florida. Every time I stopped to get fuel its was like learning to walk all over again. (I am only 5'8" 185) But the worst part for me was the cabin noise. Now the road type made quite a difference but I would say 80% of the time it was bad, we could barely hear each other in the cabin. This was after having the Fat Matt installed!!
I have definitely enjoyed the car and still get thumbs up almost everywhere I go. But if I cant enjoy the vehicle on a long trip then I need to move on.

Early car - many problems but I will buy another one
My car was ordered early in 2013 and delivered Oct 2, 2013 vin #1239
z51 auto CF dash Nav Chrome wheels CRM Mag ride -- now has 13,570 miles on it.
"RED" has had a lot of problems for a $69,000 car. This is despite hearing Harlan and gang say at Carlisle that the cars would arrive with few quality issues and great fit of the body panels which was certainly not the case. I love my C7, even with the problems ( and I do not track it ) and I will get another one --but not an early one next time as you will see why below:
1. It has been unmarried twice - first time for stiffening plate replacement It hurts to see the entire back end of your new car rear Fascia, suspension cradle and drive shaft, spread out over the service area floor and I had to see it twice.
2. The second time was for the entire drive shaft replacement due to a noisy lash in the splines (which I was told resulted in an entire ship of drivelines on route from Australia being turned around while they fixed the issue)
3. New brake rotors (4) due to defective warped hubs (TSB)
4. New rear camera
5. New info screen because it continued to stick in down position rendering most features of car inaccessible
6. Bad right front Mag shock -replaced
7. Hood fit so bad that right side is about 3/8s inch above the fender contour. Dealer said it could not be adjusted to fit any better.
8. Rear fascia was refit so it matched up with fenders and tightened
9. Rear Corvette word was tilted and had to replaced -removal exposed
bubble in paint that required repainting the fascia.
10. New roof pegs per TSB.
So there is the sad story - All of the work was done without cost to me which is a plus. Also,I have to say that it was incredible to own the car when it first came out and was rare as a Unicorn. I could never fill it up without a crowd forming around it. I love the car but feel like GM debugged the car on the early buyers. I will not do the first year purchase again though I am waiting to buy again about a year after the C8 arrives.

Le Mans Master
Picked up April, 2014.
Did air bag re-program.
Removed anti-siphon grid myself.
Removed auto fuel door lock myself, so not to get stranded if it failed to unlock like some have.
Added locknut to parking brake bracket that was left off during assembly.
That's it.
Lock nut left off on parking brake bracket
No more locking fuel door
No more anti-siphon grid
