Black Suede Seats
My 2016 Stingray came in with Black leather/Suede seats instead of all leather. Dealer error. Han anyone had the Suede seats? They don't look bad, but how will they wear. I can wait for all leather, but that will be a few weeks.

Keep them, but see if you can talk the price down since they goofed. They heat better, vent better, and look better. I wish I checked that box.
Other option: send them to me and I'll send my all-leather ones back.

I ordered and received the suede seat inserts for my '14 3LT black interior, at the time the "sueded microfiber seat inserts" were a $395.00 option. After one year, IMO, they still look great, I would definitely order them again!

I have just over 10,000 kms. (about 6,000 miles or so) on my Kalahari competition seats with alacantra (suede) inserts. Absolutely no signs of wear at all. On all leather seats like my C6 Grand Sport had, leather would show some cracking by now. Also, along with the fans in the seats, they seem to be a lot cooler in the hot weather.

I have the microfiber inserts on mine. Daily driver, 6k miles, inserts look great. Microfiber inserts have been available since the later C6 years. There are plenty of threads in the C6 section that attest to how well they wear.

Many folks also stated that the sueded option kept you planted and also allowed the venting to work better.
I got sueded on my seats (same color as you are getting) and have been extremely happy with them. I see no wear issues, they do keep me from sliding and the venting works great (though I have no comparison to base that on as I haven't tried the venting in non-sueded seats).
2016 Z51 Coupe 3LT. 4150 miles. 3 weeks old. But you can find '14's with much more butt in seat time and miles and they look the same as the below.

I have them with 33,000 miles on it. The suede looks like new, cleans easily, and keeps you planted.
This pic is from 20,000 miles, but the seats look just the same, now.

I have suede inserts in my 2015 Impala - I like them a lot. They do not get as hot as leather would and the heated seats work very well. I've only had the car for five months, so time will tell how well they hold up for me.

Any difference with the suede in the Competition seats? I know with this option, you get the suede steering wheel and shift boot.

I got them with my kalahari interior, I didn't order them they just came with.
I like them for the hot days, especially on those 90+degree days, we don't get too many of them but they make sitting in the car bearable.
