2015 Auto-MPG, Wow.....
My first road trip from VA to GA on 1 tank of gas!!!

I agree... Wow! On a much shorter trip with some mountains and the cruise set at 65, I was able to average 35 MPG. Impressive. I'm not usually able to be so conservative with my speed but this was a test. Great mileage... the Corvette gets better highway mileage than our 4 cylinder Honda Accord.

A slippery, lightweight body and tons of low-end torque do wonders for economy. I used to get low 30s regularly in a 2010 C6. I have to imagine with direct injection and AFM a C7 can hit mid 30s on the highway with ease.

Got to give GM props for delivering a high performance sports car that is frugal with gas.

How the heck are you guys doing this? I haven't been able to break 19 mpg in over 1110 miles. Typically averaging 14-15 mpg.

On a fairly long road trip I averaged 30.8, with an overall average of 26 (after 2k for 'break in' miles).

I run in sport most of the time...rural driving most of the time and minimal interstate.
