Default Pics of my ordered Corvette

I just noticed that GM now has the 2016 build option on their site: As I'm patiently waiting for them to actually build my car I decided to see what it would look like with everything I ordered:
3LT Z51 with NRB color, twilight blue design package, Blade Silver racing stripe, Carbon Fiber Dual Roof and Carbon Fiber interior dash. I like how the racing stripe brings out those R86 wheels!

This has me more excited than ever

Two roofs and the full stripe, you may want to reconsider.

Now I'm just speculating as I have never seen one but that is just an assumption. Could save yourself some $$ and probably delivery time by just going with the single painted roof w/stripes (which look great btw, and I'm not even a fan of stripes usually! )

PS- your color combo kinda reminds me of this '68 Impala I saw at a local car show this past weekend which I thought looked amazing!

If you stripe the transparent top it not going to be very transparent. It you don't stripe its going to look stupid with a break in the dual stripe. Go with just the painted roof and you will love it.

I had thought about that...I don't know how much i'd use the transparent top but wanted to have it just in case I thought it looked cool. The stripe would still be visible in back and on hood so that's why I went with it. Hard to tell when you're ordering without seeing. The forum dealer didn't tell me not to...and he seemed fairly upfront and honest. I think i'll like having options thanks for your input though!

Great looking build. About those stripes - I love the look but cannot understand why GM puts them on the roof when it's exposed carbon fiber or transparent. I get it on the body color roof, but not the others. And if you want to remove the stripes down the line, I would be very careful so as to not damage the roof surface.

Just my .02

So they will put the stripes on the transparent roof too? I wondered about that. That doesn't bother me though...I think I actually prefer that.

The R86 wheels are what makes your build look so great. Nice designer work with your selections. The interior blue makes the C7 have a European sports car look.

I'd find a dealer that has a vette with the stripes in stock and ask him to put on the other top so you can see it.

I disagree, in the 60's and 70's GM cars (chevelle/camaro) had no stripes on the roof and I prefer that look. It's all a matter of personal opinion.

NRB is a great color, I really like it with the silver stripes - I want to paint my C3 a similar blue with a silver stinger.
