Was not that expensive. Just email him and get one. Certainly no vette tax involved here.

Price was a little more than I was looking to spend.

If the price I was quoted included installation (vs and extra $75 for that) I would have bought it.

Install it yourself. Took all of 30 minutes taking my time to make sure it was centered. Its on flat glass so easy to position and no stretching to shape. Not at all like stripes or paint film. Its a wet application so you have a few minutes to get it positioned before you squeegee in place.

I'm curious as to what it looks like in the rear view mirror. Do you notice it affecting your vision to the rear? What does it do to headlights behind you at night?

Its mostly above my line of sight. I should have installed it another inch up and it would be nearly all out of sight.

The areas in matte do block vision but they do not light up or refract from headlights behind. Mostly I don't know its there when driving.

Use my DIY for the large hood decal......would be same procedure for the jake. The key is to make a 'hinge' and do it in halves.

I've got this decal on my back window. Color matched to the car.

Lookin' good!
Could we trouble you for a few more photos, at different angles or with different lighting, please? To get a better idea of how it looks "in real life"! Thanks!
