$5k???????? Holy ****!!!! Nice setup, but come on. Who would buy this at full price when corsa and borla have systems for 1/3 the price??

Shoot Dan, I'd be all over that. Especially since your car is a non-NPP. I'd even do one of those short term loans just to spread the expense out a little while.
Congratulations!

I see your point, but this is a " get what you pay for " scenario if ever I've seen one.

Thanks, Dan, for volunteering your car. This will all be on the Corvette Forum homepage, soon.

I can easily reply with "Akra stuff is WAY overpriced." and it's just as valid.

It's probably not overpriced, considering the materials and craftsmanship, but it is ridiculous to spend $5k on exhaust.

I'll meet you half at materials.. Disagree on craftsmanship.. Their stuff isn't that much higher quality than other hardware of lesser cost. We're not talking about designing space probes that need to survive millions of miles through hostile space w/ sensitive electronics on board.

Thanks again. I wish I could have bought the exhaust with the offer that you guys provided (just not in my budget right now) I really loved the sound and added power; I ended up punching the throttle a lot more with it on. When I drove my c7 home after the NPP exhaust was put back on, it was a real downer compared to your exhaust. Thanks again for keeping the second set of actuators and controller installed so that I have a fully functional NPP exhaust at least.
