2017 GS LBR 2LT Kalahari Chrome Wheels (Old man Spec)👴
Finally bought my dream car back in April… I’m 27 and I hear this build is officially the “old man spec.” Dark Red Metallic paint with chrome wheels and brown interior. I did buy it from a great guy in his 70s (I’m the second owner) but let me tell you… you older guys have great taste👍🏽 I would’ve specced it out the same minus the chrome wheels… I was gonna swap them for Pearl nickel but I’ve fallen for the chrome over time. Nothing but compliments from everyone of all ages for my baby.
Last picture is with my friend’s siren red Silverado for comparison. Both cars were a little dirty in that pic.
LBR is the best color for a C7… I’d put Crystal Red right behind it.
What I love most about this color is the fact that it’s always changing… you’ll never get bored of it because depending on lighting/ sunshine and the angle that you look at it… it can change real quick.
i finally found it in its best form… this was earlier today at dusk right before the sun left for the day. Not a cloud in sight and the sunshine was almost perpendicular to it. Here, it loses its burgundy/ maroon character and becomes a nice TRUE red (at least to me). Hard to believe
it’s the same car!!!
