Default [PICS] Replaced OEM lug nuts with black lug nuts. Black wheels...

Didn't noticed how much they stick out until I replaced them. Looks much better IMO. Thought I would share for those that have black wheels. Happy 4th!

Amazon:
Amazon.com: Upgr8 S-series 20 Pieces Steel Closed Ended Wheel Lug Nuts with Key (M12 X 1.5MM, Black): Automotive Amazon.com: Upgr8 S-series 20 Pieces Steel Closed Ended Wheel Lug Nuts with Key (M12 X 1.5MM, Black): Automotive

These are smaller then the OEM ones as you can probably tell from the pictures. Shows a little of the unpainted black wheel but you can't really tell unless you are trying to look for it.

Looks sharp! I just bought my LT1 couple today and it has the exact same wheels, and I never noticed the chrome lug nuts until I saw this. Not sure whether to thank you or curse you!

Also, what did you do with your front grill to get rid of the chrome trim piece?

You can thank my OCD haha. I replaced my grill with the oem z06 grill. There is DIY post here on how to do it. Cheap mod too

Since you went with the blacked out emblems, the black lug nuts go well with the car.

Looks much better IMO, thanks for the link. Just ordered a set for my z51 wheels. My bud ordered the black Gorilla lug nuts for his car. I wonder how these compare.

I will post new pics when I install new black lugs. Should work with the red stripe. All chrome will be gone except for exhaust tips

Hi there, I like your center caps. Just a few questions. Do they make them black or carbon flash, are they hard to remove, can you swap them out without removing the wheel. Thx.

If you remember, report back here with the ones your buddy ordered. Curious to know if they are any larger then the ones I got. Thanks!
