Strange anomoly with Window auto-up function
Started the car today to go out for a quick cruise. Prior to starting the car, both windows were all the way down.
While the car was idling / warming-up in the garage, I hit "auto up" on both windows and both windows proceeded up as expected. While the passenger window went up fully and stopped, the driver's side did not. Instead, what it did was go all the way up and then immediately go all the way back down again and stop.
I tried the auto-up on the driver's window again, and again it went all the way up and then all the way down.
I then raised the driver's window again with the switch manually without initiating the auto-up function and the window went up fully and stopped.
During my short outing, I tried the auto-up and auto-down function on the driver's side several times and it worked correctly every time with no further anomalies.
Any idea why this happened? Electrical gremlin perhaps?

If I'm not mistaken, if some obstruction is sensed while the window is being raised, it will stop and auto down all the way.
Might want to check if some obstruction is in the weatherstripping....

Thanks for that, Ken.
My windows had been down for about a week while the car was parked in the garage. I just got the car a short time ago and I'm guessing the new seals might have swelled a bit while the windows were down. Maybe that swelling caused the window to bind while nearing the top.
Sound plausible?

Hi guys....did any of you figure out what was causing your window issues? It's happening on my 2015 convertible

This happens occasionally to me right after I put the top back on on the passengers side. I think it just hits the bottom of the roof or the seal funny and it thinks there is an obstruction. Mine is very intermittent.
