I hope to order a '17 coupe. Seeing the two new one color interiors is exciting for me. I hope they carry them over for '17.

Did this one for a user on another forum. Black base wheels on black car. I'm not a fan of either but I have to admit, this looks slick. Maybe someone here would like to see the combo:

And another one I did for myself to see my exact build. I was concerned that I might not like the Carbon Flash badges with my choice of silver wheels. I'm happy to say that's definitely not the case after seeing it all together.

Arctic White
Body colored roof and mirrors
Base painted silver wheels
Carbon Flash badges (including bar in grille)
No spoiler

Big thanks for posting. The large wheel well gap of a C7 makes any wheel's appearance a bigger challenge to look good.

I would need to see in person so I can see what the offset is, which is hard to glean from the pics. The C6 Z06 split 5-spoke reproductions look really different based on offset alone. From the pictures, focusing on the wheel alone, I think the '16 base wheels look nicer than the '15 base wheels.

Imagining the '16 wheels on the car though, I think it'd be flipped, but not by much. Those '16 base wheels would seem more at home on a sports sedan like a CTS VSport or even a Porsche Cayenne crossover, less so on a swoopy sport car like the C7.

You're welcome.

It's most certainly a matter of opinion. The '16 wheel is far superior in my opinion to the '14-'15. The only reason I used to think about Z51/ZF1 was for the wheels. The new base wheel is arguably just as attractive.

Agree completely. Not a fan of the new rims. Among other things, they look just like the split spoke rims I see every day on thousands of other cars, from Chryslers to BMWs.

You're very welcome! The offer is still available to anyone that would like a mockup. Post a starting image and let me know what you want done.

I have to disagree. I absolutely love the new wheels! As they say, to each their own....

Could you do a PS of a 2016 coupe Night Race Blue...with base black wheels vs. black Z51 style wheels and the carbon badging with chrome delete bar in grille. The brake caliper is dark grey.

Thanks

Sure. I'll get on it this evening when I return home. Any other styling elements such as include spoiler? Black or body color for mirrors/roof?

Check this thread for it.

Thanks. If you could also include a body color (NRB) spoiler vs. no spoiler.

It will be interesting to see who is the first person with a 2016 base car with the new base wheels who will post actual photos of their car and wheels. Since my TPW has been pushed back to 6/29 it isn't likely to be me.
