All the MyLink app does is facilitate the "streaming" of Pandora internet content, via your smartphone, through the Vette's MyLink system. Here is a link to a video explaining it: http://www.chevrolet.com/2014-mylink-radio.html

Go to the Pandora section on that page and play the video.

First load Pandora app on your iPhone. If you have an android you may have a problem not hooking up with the car but I am not sure.

With my iPhone I loaded the app and got it working on the phone first. Then turned on my Bluetooth and pushed the icon for Pandora they found each other. Now when I turn on Pandora in the car it starts playing right away.

Once you have it downloaded to your phone, your able to build your own playlists. Any of your favorite artist you just search for them and add the station. You can then enhance the station by adding even more artist that play the same type of music. It's great to have, I recently drove from from Ft lauderdale to memphis and back listening to Ryan Bingham
station I put together and never changed the station. Try it, you'll like it!

Just realize what you're using it you are using your data plan… And using it on a long trip will add up and maybe bust your data plan, you have to look into it…I was once told that the "majority" of data plans could take 15 hours of streaming a month if you used other data.... Not sure it still apples.....

Default Streamwriter Downloads Whatever Songs You Want

I have used StreamWriter for several years. You list the songs or artists you want and it will recorded the song when ever it is played in the world. I turn it on in the background and come back in a few days.

The default format is MP3. The program neatly bundles the songs and/or artists in folders. I put the folders on an SD card and keep it in the console slot. The media search function has no problem finding whatever song you want.
