It appears I had to do two things to get it working right. Clear the app's cache and data, and log in again, and set the Automatic Launch option in Advanced settings.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Anyone seen this before, and resolve it? Is it working for anyone with Android?
I have a HTC one M8 that plays Pandora fine by itself but when in the car sometimes Pandora will play and sometimes I get the message "Pandora error". Have taken it to the dealer twice but they cannot solve the problem. Neither can either of two dealers fix my drivers seat so that it functions the memory positions when either getting in or getting out.

Well I just had to try Pandora tonight since a got a new phone a few weeks ago. Fired it up on the phone and then went to the car's app. Worked great, even got the album covers! The phone is Android, Galaxy S6 and is paired via Bluetooth of course.

Works great with my Galaxy S5. Sure beats paying for XM or listening to what little local FM is left.

i do it from my tv.i would guess you can do it on the phone ,i go to create a station and it lets me type in search for any song or artist and creates a station . once that is done everytime you give a thumbs up or down it will start playing songs based on your likes and dislikes till it plays just songs and artist you like.i have 608 stations on my car /phone so far and unlimited songs.
when i do this from my tv my phone and car pick it up auto.
i also find the sound better ,plus you set the sound on your phone for your car to 3d ,s. sound, bass boost etc. etc. to the sound you like .

I've had my Z06 since January and almost always listen to Pandora off of my phone (a Galaxy S4). I see this "Pandora error occurred" error a lot. I'm impressed how it hooks up to the phone by itself - but they do have some issues.

I'm not sure what is causing the error - but I've figured out a consistent way to fix it:

With the error on the screen - all I have to do is hit the home key - go to the radio for a second - then hit Home again and then hit Pandora. It hooks up just fine with no error for the rest of the trip. It just needs to be re-loaded. That's the only cure I've found. It has nothing to do with the phone - even though the car tells you to check the phone. The problem is with the car.

I'll try to pay more attention to when the error occurs. It may have something to do with when the phone leaves the WiFi of my house and goes to G4 signal when I hit the road. It seems to error out when that happens. But I'm not positive about that. I wish I knew.

I used to have unlimited with Verizon. But they wouldn't let me keep that plan when I switched from the Galaxy S1 to the S3 :-(

Does Pandora buffer more using Bluetooth versus the phone being plugged into the USB port?

I believe the problem s are different with android depending on which os you are running. After my HTC one m8 receieved the latest os I now have to make sure my WiFi is off and my phone screen is unlocked before pressing the Pandora button on the my link screen or that message will occur. Also with android phones at least on 14 models Pandora works only connected bluetooh if connected via usb wire you will only be able to run Pandora on phone without headend control of app. Now using iPhones cable MUST be plugged in to use Pandora via mylink app.....hope this helps

I have an early production C7 #3206. Using a Samsung Galaxy S5 with Sprint and have no roaming or data charges. Pandora has always worked as well as that type of application can be expected to work. Signal seems less compressed than XM/Sirius so fidelity is better. Most times on the road when using it, phone has my Escort Max map running as well to show reported locations of smokie's ahead of me.

Sprint. It sucks in a lot of ways, but I've got a great plan.

The only time I notice buffering is as the first song loads up, and when I hit the skip button early in the current song. And those are from the cellular connection, not BT.

On the original topic, I still get the error occasionally, but most of the time it clears itself. Occasionally I need to fiddle around with the phone a bit, then retry Pandora on the car and it'll work.

I'm having a general bluetooth media connection issue with my Asus Padphone X. Phone calls work fine, Pandora can connect (usually), but any and all media audio (Pandora, mp3, etc) play only through the phone's speaker. The Bluetooth settings read as continually in "Connecting" mode. I've tested it on two other Chevy's, same issue, likely going to get a new phone soon.

I use both on my phone. Pluses and minuses. The advantage of Pandora in the car is that you can control it from the 8" touchscreen, which is easier than using the phone, while driving.

My daughter's GS3 works flawlessly with all of my MYLink systems.. as I found out the other day as she disconnected my GS5 and started up her Pandora Playlist of effing One Direction...
