Picked up my new C7 today
My first time loading pictures so hope it comes out.
I ordered the car wed 3/11 and picked it up today, exactly 7 weeks later.
Its a crystal red/kalarahi 3LT 7 spd. convertible with NPP. Everything went smooth and my salesman, Sam Kelley, was terrific. The last corvette I drove was in 1997 and I did not test drive the C7but no big deal as I gave it a lot of clutch when shifting till I got the hang of when the clutch engages and started my100 mile trek on the garden state parkway to get home. I varied my speeds from 55 to 80 and went between 4th and 7th gear. The heads up display is just great as I watched the gear I shifted into so I did not go from 4th to 7th or downshift to the wrong gear before I let up the clutch.
Yes the car has orange peel and plenty of it but I can live with it but what bothered me a bit was a couple of very slight waves in the body composition when viewing the side from back to front while standing in the back of the car.
One thing I did notice was the amount of heat coming from under the dash with the left **** on low and the temp at 61 and fan off. Is this normal.
To say I am excited is putting it mildly. I am gonna love this car.

Congrats, that is a beautiful combo!
As to the HVAC, try not turning the fan OFF, but rather leave it on Auto and adjust the temp to what is comfortable for you. If the C7 is like other Auto Climate Control systems, it is not operating if there is no fan setting. Worth a try, good luck!

When I was there yesterday, the showroom only had classic vettes and there was maybe a dozen or so vettes in the back and many had SOLD on the windshield. When I was there to order the car 7 weeks ago, they must of had 25 vettes in the showroom and maybe 50-75 vettes outside in the back.
