Default Very Frustrated

I put an order in on a Laguna Blue Z51 - 3LT the first week of Jan. with my local dealer and it is still at 1100. About 2 weeks ago I went to Les Stanford which is the 3rd largest in the country for Corvette sales. I am hoping to get it accepted tomorrow. (Thursday) so they say. I know its getting down to the wire for a 15' so I guess if its not accepted I will start looking online for something comparable to what I want. I thought ordering the first week of Jan. would have been plenty of enough time to get it by spring. I guess I didn't do my research. Sorry, Just venting

I ordered through Macmulkin for this very reason. Placed order 1/9 and accepted by G.M. on 1/22. I also had the body color roof panel which is on constraint. My car is built waiting on a train in Toledo. Good luck with your car, I'm sure Les Stanford will move things along.

That sucks.

I placed my order 3/7 at the dealer. My dealer is Classic Chevrolet which told me they are the highest volume Corvette dealer in north Texas.
They did not submit it to GM until 3/13.
As of this morning it was already at code 3000 - Order Accepted by production control

agreed....if you wait 2 weeks from giving them a deposit and not getting a 2000, time to walk, unless he had been truthful and can tell you where you are, "on his list".....

That stinks. We ordered from a dealer in Daytona, about an hour away from us that's ranked number 15 in the nation for vette sales. Before placing the order we made sure they had allocations available. Placed the order on Sunday, March 8th, GM accepted the order on that Tuesday and we were notified this morning that we're already at 3000. I'd go find another dealer if I were you and be sure they have allocations available. Ordering 15's ends on the 28th of this month so you might want to move quick....

I ordered my last two vettes through Classic. They are the No. 1 Corvette dealer in all of Texas by a wide margin, and were No. 8 in the nation last year.

Great ordering/buying experience both times, by the way. Very good deal, very professional, very courteous, very competent, fast, friendly, and no slime.

Les Standford jacked me around for FIVE weeks and wasted the entire month of February. I called Mike Furman @ Criswell and got in the very next week. I would NOT put much faith in Les Standford dealership. Better have a back-up plan.

No help to the OP, but...placed my order on March 6th; went to 3000 today. It's time for you to quickly move on!

Good luck!

I would suggest that you look at Kerbeck's inventory, and if you don't see anything that will work for you, call them about their allocations. Ask for Sam Kelley, he worked with me. (Kerbeck is in NJ I'm in Wyoming) Got exactly what I wanted, and it was a courtesy delivery to Laurel, Mt. Dean (Order a RED one!)

PS, You have to find your own LEGS!

Nice to hear. So far so good here. My entire experience there was far above my previous Chevrolet experience at Vandergriff in Arlington, Tx.

Ordering using a friends supplier discount that purchased 3 chevys himself from that dealer. 2 last year and 1 this year. He is letting me have his last code for this year.

My father is friends with the owner of les, and we also switched over to them when my local dealership couldn't fill full my order. You should be ok.

the posted end date for orders might also not be true. Les is saying other things about that.
