It appears GM didn't want to exclude 2015 owners from getting bad engines too!
From the federal NHTSA web site. Looks like they expect them to grenade.

No real details. My guess is they don't know. I read somewhere they had two different bearing suppliers one making good ones one not so good. I bet they dont even know what motor has what bearing makers bearing in it.

Looks like it from what I can see. The date of issue for the TSB is 12/01/14

so they deny the LS7 issue except for like 6 months but they decide to get out in front of this .....

lmao, we don't even know who this affects. any '15 is getting the new engine treatment? my suggestion is to run that V8 in the car to the ground, then request a new engine LOL
