Default 5" of snow up until 1/21/15 now since then 66" of snow!

Got my C7 on 12/22/14 here in Plymouth Massachusetts and drove it 100 miles with no snow. One month later 1/21/15 snow storms have come one after another .Actually while I am writing this thread we are in the middle of a storm with over a fresh new foot already on the ground with more falling until tomorrow afternoon. We have gotten 66 inches of snow since 1/21/15 and with cold weather no melting in sight . All I have to connect me with Corvette Fever is this forum as my 2014 C7 Z51 vert sits patiently till maybe late march until SNOW,SAND,SALT are gone that is hoping of course.MY CORVETTE AND I HAVE CABIN FEVER!

It could be worse--you could be like me and have the fever and the snow but have no Corvette to fall back on (hopefully that will change)

You have my sympathy for all that bad weather. So far this winter, we have had less than an inch of snow and at least for the next 10 days no snow is predicted. Hopefully the weather will change for you, the snow will melt fast and you can get out and enjoy your new car.

Here in perpetually sunny Western CO it's 65* today and not a cloud in the sky. I can drive an hour east into very snowy mountains if I need to see snow, but I've driven my C7 almost every day this winter. Please keep your snow and don't send it here.

Honestly this is one of the worst winters I have ever remembered.I usually cant drive in the winter because of SOME snow and ice which is followed by plow trucks throwing sand and salt everywhere.I then wait for the snow to melt and a couple of good rain storms to wash away the sand and salt and then my vette is back on the roads again. Not this year it is hard enough some days just to go to work which I have not done today or will be doing tomorrow along with other days this winter . So it looks like lots of CORVETTE FORUM action for me! 66"of snow and counting we will be breaking records of snow accumulation this year for sure here in MASSACHUSSETTS!

I feel for you Dave! I lived most of my life up in Rochester NY. I moved here in SC in 2010. It was 70 and sunny yesterday in SC. I took a nice 75 mile ride. Today, a little gloomy, but still in the 60's

I think you guys in New England got the brunt of this winter. In my area, last year was much worse for snow and cold. These nuisance storms are what is killing me. I just won't get my car all salted up.

I picked mine up on Dec 13th and put 125 miles on in 2 weeks and then the Holidays hit and after it has been nuisance storms at least twice a week which keep my new toy locked up.

My wife is pissed as I normally keep my "toys" in our detached garage but kept my 15 in the house garage so I can look at it and wax it so wife parking in driveway. Won't get away with that next year

I got mine in October, put 800 miles on it and now all I do is plow snow from the door. HATE WINTER!

Thanks Gary I am glad you are enjoying your NEW (ZF1) package in the 70 degrees weather you are having but you know what I am going through up here since you spent most of your life in New York.Your new avatar of your car looks great. How long have you owned this one?It must be a record for you since we started postig back and fourth in the C6 section. Good for you and hopefully you will have some nice equity in this vette when you trade in on your next one!

Interesting how each year some area seems to get hammered while others luck out. Last year the snows were further south and I remember when I lived up there some years all we got was rain. But in all cases it was the dark cloudy days for weeks on end that helped me to move down here. They don't call it the sunshine state for no reason.

I pulled the car cover off half way today, opened the door to the new car smell and then put it back to bed for a long winters rest.

Traditionally owners here in MN get lots of snow but this year not so much. Today it's sunny, low 30's, and the roads are dry-just several inches remain on the grass. The salt residue continues, however, as my black CTS which I cleaned up last night is already full of the salt dust/powder all over it. Tomorrow 1-3" of snow are predicted so any thoughts of driving the 'Vettes won't gain any traction. (neither would the cars!)

if you have not lowered your car, you can use strap on chains. they work great. put in weather mode, and go have fun!!!!

Me too down in New Bedford. I got the Z06 Stage 1 splitter and can probably use it to plow snow! Mine is not coming off the lift until April.
