Default Stripes do make a difference.

I am fortunate to live only a few miles from the headquarters of VetteFx and was able to talk him into doing the install of a stinger stripe, roof, cross bar and also the front grill chrome. Sean did an outstanding job and takes pride in his work and product.
He and his parents are very nice people to talk with and they shared a few stories about a few of my fellow forum members that was very amusing.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks and share a couple of photos.

Looks nice. However do you have anything running in back or did you go with just the Stinger Hood?

Looks good, although I would have left the grill stock, I like the contrast.

It has the black spoiler along with tinted windows. I think I have enough black in the back of the car.

Are the stripes paint, a decal or a factory install?
Look good IMO.

j_bays,
Any chance that you could take a photo from a higher angle to be able to see the front, as well as the roof? I have been thinking about doing this to mine, and would love to see what it looks like from that angle.

Also, I see you are in Peoria. i am in Cave Creek. I did not realize that VetteFX is in AZ. That helps things a bit.

If this is a promo photo for their company, it's a shame they have no clue about how to take a good picture. That combo would really pop if they knew how to light a scene. That's a combo that would really stand out. Nice job! Maybe a better picture would help show how great this can look.

I'll try to help here with a quick fix.

Very nice. I will have to check this guy out. Our new 2015 did not come with the stinger stripe and I have been wanting to get one installed. I would do the front grille as well, I think the chrome delete looks great.

I really don't know. I found the pictures on the website selling aftermarket stripes.

I would say yes, they are factory. The reason, is most aftermarkets cut out for logos. This C7 does NOT have any cutouts around Stingray logos. Also that stipe coming down inside of the passenger area, I don't think a decal dealer would provide that. Also that Red does look like Crystal Red.

I've seen lots of Coupes with stripes from factors but never a convertible, thus I don't have enough information.

Would be good is someone from Corvette/Stringray would comment or even better provide pictures, especially of Convertible C7.

I sure like the looks and color combination shown.

Here's another webiste where they discuss the new stripes of Crystal Red and Orange. => http://www.corvetteblogger.com/2013/...s-in-monterey/

Look closely at the OEM strips. Sure look the same to me as the pictures I posted herein.

I don't have many photos yet but here is one taken yesterday on a drive to Montizuma Castle. I need to get to the 500 mile mark.

You are right, OP: a dramatic difference! Nothing like a "before/after" shot(s).
