Anyone found a great mount for smartphone?
I've tried the one that clips on air vent and cigarette lighter cover top.
I'm looking for something solid.
Please show pics and where you got it.
Thanks,
Caholo

I use a ProClip for my Galaxy Note4. Here's a pic of the mount - wish I had one with the phone in it, but...I used the phone to take the pic
Here are the details...

I use the Kenu XL vent clip mount. Instead of securing it into a vent it clips onto the top of the aux adapter housing, my phone rests perfectly, it's secure, doesn't budge. Perfectly clean solution.

I am minimalistic in nature so I wanted a holder that meets these 3 requirements:
1. Doesn't require my phone to be in a case.
2. Doesn't require my phone to have a piece of magnet on its back.
3. The holder be easily detachable and stowed away since I rarely mount my phone
Here's my solution:
That's all that is there when I am not mounting my phone.
Instead of using an expensive ProClip holder that is not detachable, or a clumsy universal holder, I used a trimmed off iphone6 case. You want a case that is stiff and has a rubber coating. This case costed me $1.99 shipped on newegg.com.
I chose a white case because my phone is white.

Does the proclip leave any marks on of the interior pieces of the car? Mar the aluminum of the leather trim pieces.
Looks great, just don't want to mount someting that will leave tracks after it's removed.

I've got this one, with wireless charging:
I stick it on the pop-up cig adapter. Works great & I never have to plug anything in.

I use Google Maps as my Nav. I dislike built in Nav as most are inferior to Maps and most cost an arm and a leg to update. Maps is always updated. I connect my phone via Bluetooth and directions come right through the audio system while I stream music.
