ATP 727, 737, 757, 767
A300, A310, A320, A330, A340
ERJ 170, 190; BE300, 350, 1900
CFII-ME AGI-I
Original PanAm.
40 years on the line.
One of the last of the dinosaurs.
To name a few: Lotus Elan, Elite; Ferrari 308; DeTomaso Mangusta; Porsche 911S's; C5-Z06; C7-Z51 M7. The C7 is by far the best balanced, although the 'tweaked" Mangusta was crazy fun.
Wives: Almost as many and none as well balanced.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have the credentials but all my "PIC" time now is as "Passenger-In-Coach."
I was also an Air Traffic Controller at Vance AFB, OK (1983-1988) and as a UPT base, we would see a number of new Corvettes owned by the students fresh out of the Academy and "FAIPs." For us enlisted guys with families, all we could do was just dream. Today, now that our 3 are grown and off the payroll, the dream is now reality and this C7 was worth the wait!!

Back end crew member on RC-135's, USAFSS, in ancient times. PP, land and sea, built our STOL Zenith 701. Love flying the bush country. Bigger thrill than flying in our 'Vette was landing on Mount McKinley at 11,000' on skis.

I went through UPT at Vance.... Graduated 80-04. Everyone in the control tower worked their butts off keeping us from killing ourselves and others!

I guess everyone here has that Corvette ownership in their DNA along with all our aviation DNA!! There are quite a few Corvette owners at the FAA Aeronautical Center here in OKC where I work now. I just began seeing a Gray C7 coupe in the same parking lot I use. More to come, I'm sure...

USMC Air Traffic Control. Cherry Point, NC and Okinawa. Have flown many different Piper and Cessna aircraft.
As with several others, am afraid of heights. Had some exciting times flying into dude ranches in Idaho and Montana.

Kinda new pilot. Got my ticket in 2010. SEL
Just renting now. Love doing aerobatics at T31, in a Super Decathlon.
Keep thinking about selling some cars to buy a used plane, I quit doing Autox with the SCCA and track days to feed my new flying addiction.
Love to fly, but its an expensive hobby. Wished my eyes were good enough to go the military route and let the government pay for the plane and the fuel.
Nice to see some of the pros, with all the type ratings....... I'm jealous.
