Blade Silver coupe on the way...setting it up like my '67 and '68

I also believe the spoiler is installed at the factory if you order ZF1. The reason for my belief is that the online order/reference guide does not indicate that the ZF1 package is in any way an LPO:
ZF1 NEW! ZF1 Appearance Package, includes (Q7S) 5-split spoke, Silver-painted aluminum, 19" front and 20" rear wheels, (XFJ) P245/35ZR19 front and P285/30ZR20 rear, performance summer-only tires and body-color Z51-style spoiler
Compare that to the Z51 style spoiler option:
5ZU LPO, Z51-style spoiler Genuine Corvette Accessory
Not available with (5ZV) Carbon Flash painted Z51-style spoiler, LPO, (ZF1) ZF1 Appearance Package, (R8C) Corvette Museum Delivery or (G1H) Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic exterior color.
Note the LPO designation on RPO 5ZU. I think your dealer is mistaking the 5ZU, which is dealer installed, to the ZF1 package which appears to be done at the factory (just like they are on the Z51).

And note, it is my understanding that the 5ZU referenced by Zymurgy in the post above requires different holes in the body than the standard ZF1/Z51 spoiler.

SB3 LPO, Body-color wing spoiler, Genuine Corvette Accessory - Not available with (R8C) Corvette Museum Delivery, (ZF1) ZF1 Appearance Package or exterior colors (G1B) Shark Gray Metallic and (G1H) Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic
5ZU is the Z51 spoiler.

I ordered my Blade silver with the ZF1 option. I went with the painted wheels, they had enough "flash" for me. It's a personal preference, but the chrome wheels didn't do it for me.
Here are some pics of my car at the dealership before being prepped. Someone stuck a 2015 sticker on it without knowing it was a customer order and not ending up on the show floor.
The rear spoiler was installed at the factory. I had the dealer install some A/S 3's instead of the factory run flats. Not that I will drive the car that much in our Minnesota winters, but I will drive it when the temps are below 40 and even stored in a garage the temps can get below zero.

Not blade silver, but this is what the C7 looks like with Z51 wheels and no Z51 spoiler. I bought the wheels on Ebay from a gent that wanted chrome wheels on his '15. Tires are Michelin AS/3's. I sold the base silver painted wheels and tires on Ebay. I am pretty sure the spoiler is installed at the factory on the ZF1 pkg, as it is on Z51. The only dealer installed spoilers are if you order the Z51 style or wing spoiler as a stand alone option.

Thanks for all the great pics. I will find out what the facts are tomorrow. If my new dealer was talking out of his a$$ I wouldn't be shocked. He did sound like he knew what he was talking about tho...

I vote for silver wheels on a silver C7. That way the wheels don't overpower the silver of the car.

It's sad - but I think most dealers will tell you exactly what you want to hear to close a deal. When the car comes in they'll then rely on the "emotion of the moment" to sway you into taking the car even though it isn't exactly what you wanted. They'll apologize profusely, blah, blah, blah but they'll still work to close the deal. It's also sad that any consumer who is willing to read a bit can generally know MORE about the vehicle than the dealer. This also includes the NCM staff - I was fed multiple lines of BS at my factory tour. Very disappointing - especially when you pay for the VIP tour.

So...finally I have gotten the info that I was looking for. Blade Silver/Black. I CAN get the ZF1 option, with the spoiler not installed. I can have the nicer wheels without the spoiler. Why do I want it this way? Because I like the rear of the car as is. It reminds me of my '67 coupe. My '68 has a little spoiler, but it is smoothly integrated into the body, and the add-on Z51/ZF1 spoiler just didn't look right to me. So now, the wheels...chrome, like the trim rings/rally wheels on my 67 and 68...or painted? Or machined??? Probably going with the chrome.

If you order a non Z-51 car and want the Z-51 spoiler it is dealer installed. If you order the ZF-1 package then the spoiler is installed at the factory.

Yep, you guys are RIGHT...dealer was WRONG! ZF1 spoiler is factory installed. Looks like I'm buying a BASE car, and BUYING the big wheels a La carte. Boy oh boy...
