The seats are good for me.

I'm 5'11" 194 lbs. I thing the size of your thighs makes a difference. I lost 30 lbs after I ordered it so I fit better.

I find that after getting in the car I scoot my butt to the right to center myself in the seat I have no problem.

I lost 30 lbs since getting the car, seat is perfect now. You can only ask the seat to do so much.....

This is something casual sitting doesn't uncover when your out shopping. I had super high hopes for the new seat design. They look so high tech and comfy.

FWIW I'm 62+ 5'9" @ 220 pounds, folks would describe that as "portly" and I have the usual assortment of back, knee, leg and ankle aliments stemming from military service and age.
Take your car to a shop that specializes in interiors/seats. We have several in town and I have used them to work on my Camaro seats.

I agree, both sides dig into the thighs, leading to a lot of shifting, hoping with time they flatten out a bit, or may look into having the side bolsters shaved down a bit
Would love to hear if any other things work for people.

If you haven't seen the pics of the drilled holes in the bolsters in this post....this is the best solution and doesn't change the look of the seat. It really softens up the foam. If you shave too much off the contour, it would wrinkle and look sloppy.

I spent some seat time in 2 C7s this past weekend and I'll be drilling the bolsters when I get one.

Are you guys sitting with your legs straight, or do you have them splayed out?

I sit legs splayed out, to hard to sit, legs closed, I"m 6 foot 240#, and before the stupid comments about losing weight, built like a linebacker, sounds like maybe the drilling through the bolsters is the way to go

I'm not in the habit of making stupid comments to linebackers.

I am 6'2" and weigh 168. Have standard seats in my 2015 Coupe. Have made multiple 10 hour trips and find the seats are the most comfortable of any car I have owned including multiple C-5's and C-6's. The seat bottom bolsters are just a little snug though.

I found I enjoy it more by not tilting the seat bottom back...Its practically level and then use the dead pedal.....Takes pressure off the thigh imo. You can compromise by tilting the seat rear back some if you like to recline...

There are lots of options with the seat adjustment.

Everybody is different. I usually take time to adjust to a new seat, be it my car, rental etc, but the C7 was perfect from day one. I've never been so comfortable in a car so quickly. And I've done 2-3 hour stints so it's not imagined. I had an '08 335 BMW that I had to sell due to seat issues so I guess you never know.

How many years have the press and sports car enthusiasts been complaining about the lack of proper seat bolstering. Well, GM listened. It's a sports car, not a grand touring car such as an MB SL.

I'm 6'5, weigh 262 pounds... Who am I? I'm Dwayne Johnson, go back to your little hidey hole.
