Default Paul Masse Chevy

I took a ride to check out the C7's at Paul Masse Chevy in RI. The place was very nice. Not sure what their discounts are but they have a nice place to check out the vettes and consider their next purchase. I read a lot of good things about MacMulkin but not Paul Masse. It would be nice to know that there are more than one volume dealer in the Northeast that offers the big discounts.

I could have stayed there for hours just looking at them. I could see how picking a color would be difficult, every color looks great.

I bought a C6 from MacMulkin (Tommy Jr) and my C7 from Paul Masse (David Wellington Jr) in East Providence, RI. Both top notch dealers. Paul Masse accepted my GM Supplier Discount on the C7.

I ordered my C7 from Dave Wellington Jr. at Paul Masse. He is a class act. He accepted my supplier discount on a Z51 build when nobody else besides Les Stanford would. He kept me updated every step of the way on my order status. He even called me multiple times while he was on vacation during my wait.

Both offer wide selection. Both vary their discounting according to market conditions. Macmulkin is not interested in talking real money for your trade. Masse is more interested in trading. No illusions about either being your close friend. They want to sell you a car. That's why they are there.
My tally to date: 4 from Masse and 0 from Macmulkin. All due to trade value.

A lot to consider if you are trading, compared to buying straight out. The old aide is to sell your self if you can, but sometimes just trading in for what you really want is fast and easy. I bought mine from Macmulkin, but it was one month before the C7 came out and they had the C6 I liked. If I upgrade I will consider giving Masse a call. It can never hurt

I also bought a new 2015 C7 from Paul Masse Chevrolet. It only took 5 weeks from placing the order to taking delivery. I dealt with Paul Dragich, who is one of their Corvette specialists. He really knows the cars and has even attended the Ron Fellows Driving School. I got a great deal but did not trade in my C6. We decided to keep it so that we would have a Coupe and a Convertible. The dealership is only 30 minutes from my home. They are the closest volume dealership in my area. I considered MacMulkin in NH but I wanted one closer just in case I needed any warranty service which is the only time my Corvettes see a dealership.

Nice ride. Any Chevy dealer should handle your warranty issues, by the way.

Anyone know if they allow test drives if you were a potential buyer?

From what I have read on this forum there are many dealers who do not want your service if you did not buy from them. I am sure Paul Masse is not one of them. The deal I got was the same that I would have been offered in NH so it made sense to go with the closer dealer. Plus Paul Masse is very supportive of the local Corvette Community.
BTW, there is a Chevy dealer just a few miles from my home but they only have a few allocations. I wanted a volume dealer to ensure that my order would get picked up.

I bought my c7 from Masse vs. Macmulkin because one was not interested in a trade although they both agreed to CU discount. They're both great dealerships but it comes down to how you "feel" when you leave. Aaron Tirrell at Masse took extra time with every question and made it seamless. They have affiliation with Corvette owners club as was mentioned so they understand the culture in my opinion.

I am the Membership director of The Corvette Club Of RI, and I know Paul Masse personally, and I can tell you unequivocally that he is a class act and demands the same of all of his employees. From the standpoint of support for the Corvette Community he is very generous, and supportive of our club and the best sponsor we have ever had. Every June he puts on an event called Vettetacular that draws hundreds of Corvettes from the New England area as it is an event unmatched anywhere. From unbelievable goodie bags to amazing food.We have people show up hours before opening to make sure they get in and hope for a goodie bag before they run out. His dealership is currently undergoing major renovations and the service area is even more Corvette friendly than before. With new alignment areas and Corvette friendly lifts Paul is showing his commitment to servicing what he sells. Just this past Friday I spent several hours there with 3 friends, one of whom is looking for a new C7 possibly, and you are always treated with respect and courtesy. We sat in cars and even set off a car alarm and no one ever showed any thing but humor and help when we asked for it. I have heard good things about Mac Mulkin but Masse I can vouch for personally.
