Non NPP exhaust look
I had never considered getting NPP because I could care less about a loud exhaust. However after seeing the regular 3" pipes and the spaces between them and how they do not fill up the opening and then looking at the NPP 4" pipes which fill up the exhaust area opening, I have to get the NPP exhaust solely for the look. If I never compared both together, I would have never been aware of how much better the NPP pipes look. Yea I guess I will get into playing around with the exhaust sound but I can't live with the look of the std. exhaust--looks like something is missing back there- too small. Anybody else feel the same way.

I went with the standard system because I didn't like the massive exhaust pipes of the NPP system. The exhaust surround and the exposed pipes is the only design element I would change on the C7. To much emphasis on the pipes.

I agree that the standard exhaust tips are too small and don't look nearly as good as the larger ones of the NPP system, however I would also order NPP because I love the idea of having an exhaust that is louder when you want it to be, but quiet on long highway trips. I have owned my share of cars with super loud exhausts on them and they might sound cool most of the time, however the drone in your ears on long trips gets rather annoying. Worst one for me was the SLP exhaust I had on my 95 Formula. Sounded totally amazing for short drives, but not so much fun after an hour of constant highway driving though.

Go with the Corsa Extreme. Looks better, sounds better, and no light switch on/off contrast like the stock valves. Smoothly fades away in the higher gears. Very smooth and quiet cruising, and absolutely ANGRY sounding when you get on it.

I'm surprised there are some people that actually want the non NPP. I suppose this can go for many people like my father. He loves the car, and thinks stock exhaust sounds great.
But I still remember the grin on his face at the dealer when the salesman changed the exhaust tone from quiet to loud. lol

Not like the stock system is whisper quiet. When the engine is producing power you hear it. Sounds good to me and I am $1,200 ahead towards the next Corvette.

I'm trying to decide between NPP and standard exhaust. Some people make it sound like the car will sound like a Corolla if you don't opt for NPP. I find that very difficult to believe. If I order the car without NPP, won't it still sound good? Unless I directly compare it to NPP would I even be aware that I didn't have a great sounding car?
Does anyone have a link to a non NPP video?
