Trouble at the Track

Trouble at the Track
Had another track day at Circuit of the Americas today, but it didn't go well. Mine is a '14 A6 Z51 Vert (bone stock) and it has been a wonderful track beast. I have experienced what others have in the past, transmission overheating after 12-15 minutes of aggressive track time. I wasn't expecting to have that difficulty today as it was nice and cool outside, and didn't -- but had a new problem. After a few hot laps, the braking system actuated and forced me to stop. No warnings or indicators on the DIC, no overheating, no smoke or smell, no leaks. After a full stop, the car would allow me to drive for 20 meters before applying the brakes again to a complete stop. Over and over this occurred, no matter what driving mode I chose, automatic or manual. Multiple restarts had no effect. I called the folks over at Austin's Corvette World, and their techs had never heard of this problem in the C7 or any other car. I trailered the car over to the dealer and left it there, but they won't have a look at it until Monday. Anyone have any thoughts?

Safety Car
Are there any mods at all? Any change in tires? Weird that there are no warning messages displayed ...

Nope. No mods, original tires (although after this track day I was going to need a new set). No warnings or messages. My dealer did an oil change and the tech inspection earlier this week.

Wild-*** guess is it's wheel speed sensor related. Let us know.

Will be interesting to hear what the shop finds out.

Yes, Mag Ride equipped. I tried every mode/every setting to no avail. I could not tell how many wheels were braking, but the brakes are applied firmly to a stop. The techs won't have any trouble replicating the problem, I had several drivers and the track mechanic try to drive it, and every 20 meters...

Yes, felt the wheels and rotors but in the short span of 20 meters we couldn't perceive a difference. I agree that active handling is the likely culprit as it is designed to apply the brakes to keep the car balanced in high speed turns and would not show any warnings during normal activation. However, this is clearly not normal activation. If a wheel speed or other sensor failed, would there not be an indicator to the driver?
