Default How to do a burn out with a C7 auto

I have a c7 auto and recently visited the local drag strip and could not do a burnout to warm my tires. I tried in the track mode with the traction control on and off.... i also tried with the traction control off and stability control off. the stability control requires a 7 second hold down on the traction control button.
if i try to powerbrake the car it bogs on the line and only allows 1300 rpms.
if i lift my foot off the brake and stomp the gas it gives 100% power and leaves fairly good, but I know i can do better if I can warm up the tires before leaving the line.

i had to do roll out starts....
I noticed john hennessey does the same thing on his web site. Is this a program problem with the transmission or brake pedal pressure?

Cant speak to this on a C7 as mine isn't here yet, sounds like the bog down at 1300 is launch control activating. I know on my C6 a good power brake was all that was needed.

not enough power, your vettes a dog. Headers, cam, supercharger etc. etc. That will light them up.

Pretty sure you need a clutch for a proper burn out

If you are going to do a lot of drag racing at the track I would install line lock. Not quite sure why you are bogging down using the brake stand method.

Does this track allow you to wet down the line, if so have you tried this with no success as well ?

Gay-Re I am looking for a legitimate answer to a legitimate programming problem. I don't think a roll out start 1/4 mile is a dog car... It was a 10.91 with a trap of 130MPH. With a little help from the good people on this site I may be in the mid 10's!

WHAT DO YOU DRIVE, A SCHWIN OR IS IT A HUFFY?

Default A6

Don't have a problem, hold the brake and light them up, Only thing I turn off is the traction control
