Default Battery tender issue.

I put my car on the Factory battery tender this evening for its Winter rest.

I went through the access port in the trunk like the manual says but my dash screen is not shutting completely off with it plugged into it there.

I ended up just using my CTEK 3300 and hooking it up to the terminals under the hood like all my other Corvettes and all is fine.

But, has anyone else noticed this?

Everything shuts down in 10 minutes, including the trunk light if you don't completely close the lid on the cord.

I hooked up my battery tender in the trunk area about 3 weeks ago. I did not close the trunk lid completely on the cord...just enough for it to catch. After 10 minutes, all of the lights (including the dash) shut off

I'm using Battery Tender inserted in the trunk power socket. My screens and lights shut down after a few minutes, and that's with the trunk cracked open a bit (I didn't feel like mashing the cord).

May be a problem there. I had a battery tender jr on mine and all lights/screens went out.

If you are using the front socket, the battery isn't being charged. That's a switched outlet. The one in the rear is not switched.
