We get enough sunny dry days here that I never store mine for the winter. I can't imagine having to do that; getting to look at it but not drive it for months would be depressing.

Is the brand of lift Atlas? Can you give pros and cons on it? Would you do anything different if you had to do it all over?
I have been thinking of getting a lift to make more room.
Thank you!

If I get my car in January, I'll be making quarter mile passes as soon as the break in period is over.
It may be as hot as hell during the summer and every few years we get a hurricane, and every 25 years or so we get a real bad hurricane, but I'll take that over the very cold weather any day. I have a lot of compassion for you guys who have to store your cars, and looking at all the snow up in Buffalo New York.............I can just do without that.
I remember one trip to Washington DC during late October and making a trip to Gettysburg/Amish country and it started lightly snowing. I was about to freak out because I've never driven on snowy roads and I had to drive back from Lancaster to Washington DC.

Nope, all of my Corvettes (C5, C6, C7) have been my daily drivers. Even occasionally in light snow.

Yes for about 5 months
On the battery tender. Back out in May probably. Had a year 800 miles just a toy, but may have one day of incredible weather in New England can pull it out. Drive safe all.

Once the salt hits the roads mine sits in the garage.
Snow Storm coming tomorrow.
Took it for a ride today, topped of the gas and ran it through the touchless wash.
Now it'll get detailed and wait for nice weather in the Spring.
Might come out for a spin if mild weather happens before Spring and the roads clear.
Otherwise won't come out until Spring
PS: on the bright side, looking for a permanent home in Florida

I'll be at Galveston Fishing Pier tomorrow trying to bring in an end of the season bull red.
Once the Vette gets here, the fishing car is gone. So it'll be awhile before I'm rassling fish in Galveston.

I got mine just over 2 weeks ago and just put her away. I hope to get her out at the end of March or the first week of April here in Western Pennsylvania.

Western suburbs of Chicago. Plan to pack her away this weekend with only 350 miles on the clock. I was hoping to crack the 500 mile break in barrier but November has been extra miserable around here.

Mine is detailed and covered not for the winter but for the above 40 degree day when the road salt has been washed away. We usually get about 2 or 3 days like that during each winter month. I will be out on the road then back in the garage until the next time. I will give it a rise-less wash and recover. My garage is heated and that makes a big difference.
