Yes, I did a search, and unless I missed something, I did not see an answer to this question, so.....

Lloyds mats.........which ones did you go with and why? Ultimat or Luxe?

I will be getting a Jet Black interior and I like the black mats with silver stingray fish and lettering......but the Luxe looks like it could be thicker, higher, and more plush than what I want for a sports car.....so looking for opinions here.

What did you guys go with and why?

both are nice, if you want all the logos and such, only the ultimat has the Corvette stuff....at least last time I looked....I don't like the vette logos plastered all over my car ,so mine are black ultimats with red embroidered edges...

Hmmmm......I missed that.....I thought the Luxe had it too.

The Luxe is deeper, or thicker, I seen it some were, the ultimate is 32oz pilling and the luxe is 48oz pilling or vis versa, I seen it just cant find it, I will order me a set in a few weeks, like to see what people like the best, plan on getting the Luxe.

I went with Luxe. I drive barefooted a lot, and the feel is better than most home carpets. Worth the extra $$

Thought the ultimats were 5/16" and the luxe were 1/2" in my book thats only 3/16" difference in thickness which amounts to about 30% thicker on the luxe not over twice the thickness? Am I missing something here? Just ordered the ultimats hope that wasn't a mistake.

Can you exchange them for the lux mats if the ultimats aren't up to your expectations?

Lloyds mats are custom made to order; I don't think they allow returns or exchanges.

Probably depends on if your a daily driver or not. I went the Lux for the front mats and Ultimat for the back. Love the thickness of the fronts but not a daily driver either so I don't worry as much about wear and tear. Save a little money going this way also.

I had one set of Luxe mats that I used in my '09 and my '13 C6s. They were still in great shape when I sold the '13 last month. They had a total of about 35,000 miles on them.

The bottom part is thicker, that may help it look thicker than what it seems. The part the carpet is attached too.
