OK, enough discussion about old guys like chrome vs. young guys like black, let's see some numbers. Chrome vs. black, age.

I'll be 70 on Christmas and I like chrome! Please post your preference and your age.

63, I like my black wheels. Had chrome on my C5 and C6. Black wheels are becoming common place. I see them everyday on everything from Challengers to luxury SUVs.

What about us who prefer the polished aluminum? I love my CCW 505As, however from a C7 perspective, I would rather have the black than the chrome. At least that's what my latest build sheet shows. Black Z51 wheels matched up to Crystal Red.

I am 54 and prefer painted wheels. But I don't dislike chrome wheels.

I have a 2008 Victory Red C6 vert with the chrome wheel option; I recently added a set of black ZR1 wheels with the red stripe on a set of Pilot Super Sports (non run flats) and I get mixed reviews on the look, I think it looks badass. That being said I ordered the chrome wheels on my 2015 Laguna blue Z51 Coupe because I think that looks best with the color. To me its about the color combo that dictates the wheels; black is hot right now but will fade in time, Chrome will always be there. By the way I am 67.

Me too. Back then I would paint my rims black with baby moons because I couldn't afford chrome.

59 prefer chrome or painted a contrast color. Black wheels is what we did as poor kids.

Really I'm reading the black wheel thing is a trend that is alread dying to other dark colors coming out that look a lot better, even to an old fart like me..

Black wheels on black tires just looks dirty to me and would be ok if tires were white. .
