The computer does not work off the speedometer.. It uses actual car speed which is GPS. You do not need the factory GPS it is a computer function. It also determines distance by GPS and not the odometer. For those functions programmed in your car.

70 degrees outside
Conti DWS all seasons on reproduction z51 rims 33psi
Set in track sport 2
Dumped the clutch at 2700 rpm

Super job! Ever try a 2nd gear start at a higher initial rpm? Clutch won't be happy but no shifting and should control wheel spin! Surly one the drag racers should have tried. Just curious.

Well done. How much fuel did you have in the tank? Did you use Octane Booster?

Thanks

And a related question: Is there a way for someone to "cheat" the system to show lower than actual time?

as far as I know it runs of GPS so unless I drive off a cliff I dont think you can cheat.

No I do not run any booster stuff just 92 oct fuel from WAWA and I think I was at about 2/3 a tank

Good time dude. I have a question what kind of pavement? Smooth asphalt, pebble like asphalt, old road, new road or something else?

kinda makes you wonder why anyone would pay $20k for the Callaway SC627 package that's rated at 3.4 seconds when times like this are achievable with a stock motor ?

All cars are traction limited at that point if RWD, Callaway Corvette, included.

Fast forward to 19:15 for the report:

Callaway Corvette is $17,995 - Thanks!

Because anyone who measures the total performance of a car by its 0-60 time is close to clueless.
